Verlag Dominique was founded in 1976 by Reiner R. Janssen. 

Today, his son Mathias M. Janssen successfully runs the publishing company in the second generation and is building on the company's success to date. By focusing on greetings cards and Verlag Dominique's high ‘emotional competence’ in this area, the publishing company continues to set new standards in the market.
